CEDAR PARK, TX — May 28, 2026 — The City of Cedar Park today announced that Aeon Industrial, a rapidly emerging defense technology company specializing in advanced tactical weapon systems and autonomous targeting software, will relocate its headquarters and manufacturing operations to Cedar Park, Texas. The company will serve as the first tenant at Holt Lunsford Commercial’s Cedar Tech I development, represented by Austin based Live Oak.

Aeon Industrial develops next-generation, vertically integrated defense systems designed for rapid deployment, scalability, and battlefield effectiveness, including modular weapon platforms and autonomous targeting technologies built to support modern warfighter needs.

The company’s expansion into Cedar Park represents a significant milestone in the city’s emergence as a hub for aerospace, defense, and advanced manufacturing. Aeon’s presence will further accelerate the region’s ability to support mission-critical technologies and strengthen domestic defense industrial capabilities.

Aeon’s relocation also directly supports the long-term vision of the Central Texas Spaceport Development Corporation, which is advancing the development of a next-generation space and defense innovation campus in the region. The addition of advanced manufacturing and defense system capabilities in Cedar Park strengthens the ecosystem required to support these operations along with the city’s Plug and Play | Tech Center partnership which is launching their new Aerospace & Defense vertical accelerator program this fall.

Aeon’s new facility will support both corporate headquarters functions and advanced manufacturing operations, positioning the company for continued growth as it scales production of its defense systems. Bringing over 100 new jobs and $8.5 million in investment.
