A Louisiana-based company that recycles critical minerals and reintroduces them into the domestic supply chain for use by electric vehicle makers, the aerospace sector and others is eyeing an outpost in Cedar Park as the Austin suburb continues to be a hotspot for investment.
Elementus Minerals LLC — better known as ElementUSA — was approved by the Cedar Park Economic Development Corporation on Dec. 16 for a $300,000 performance-based grant to open a state-of-the-art lab and critical resource accelerator at 1200 BMC Drive. The incentive deal still must be approved by the Cedar Park City Council.
