Firefly Expands Spacecraft Manufacturing in Cedar Park

Firefly Aerospace has completed a new cleanroom at its Cedar Park campus, expanding its capacity to build Blue Ghost lunar landers and Elytra orbital vehicles. Four times larger than its existing cleanroom, the addition allows the two facilities to accommodate up to 12 spacecraft simultaneously.

Supported by Texas Space Commission funding, the expansion positions Firefly to fulfill upcoming government and commercial missions while reinforcing Cedar Park’s growing role in aerospace innovation and advanced manufacturing.
